- Gain greater understanding of U.S. legislative and policy requirements regarding abortion and family planning that govern U.S. foreign aid.
- Understanding the application of laws that influence foreign aid provided by the United States
- Understand the application of laws and policies that influence USAID family planning programs
- Describe the measures taken to ensure compliance with laws and policies
- Knowing who to turn to for more information or help, and how to access reference materials
