Prepping for the 2013 International Conference on Family Planning?

Brush up on FP Basics with courses on the Global Health eLearning Center

Two months ago I wrote a post in observance of World Contraceptive Day which highlighted the family planning offerings on the Global Health eLearning Center. This month, K4Health and CCP are excited to be represented at the 2013 International Conference on Family Planning in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The November 2013 conference will be co-hosted by The Bill & Melinda Gates Institute for Population and Reproductive Health at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and the Federal Ministry of Health of Ethiopia with a multitude of international and national partners.

In observance of this seminal event, take some time to brush-up on the basics of family planning with GHeL’s Family Planning 101 course. Another option for refreshing your knowledge is the Center’s Community-Based Family Planning course.

If you’re already familiar with this information and want something new, consider the course on long-acting and permanent methods.

Perhaps you’re an expert in family planning and want to learn more about cross-cutting issues. If so, the brand new mHealth course and the knowledge management course are for you.

Whether you’ll be in Ethiopia or joining Conference discussions from afar, USAID’s Global Health eLearning Center has something for you that will enhance your participation and broaden your experience.
